Big cannabis money is coming to Prague

The American and Canadian moneyed men are coming to Prague with 15 million euros to spend. Together with a couple of Czech Universities they are establishing the International Cannabis and Cannaboids Institute (ICCI). It looks like enough money was spent on “consultancy” so the Czech political system has allowed the deal.

They will seek to treat ill people with cannabis and design individualistic treatment plans for specific illnesses. For those of you without 15 million euros to spend, you can still buy a bucket, some soil and grow your own medical cannabis without the fan fare and lime light. Organically grown cannabis is a powerful medicine that helps treat almost all illness. Our old fashioned system, that requires huge investment money and greedy profits for the top is one of the main problems facing our society but at the same time, more cannabis in society will certainly help alleviate human suffering.

We have entered the cannabis era. Science, medicine and business will now replace the underground growers and try to squeeze as much profit as possible. It will be important that we continue to fight for our right to grow our own medicine. We will closely follow the icci in the coming months, and we hope that more information about the medical benefits of cannabis will help end needless human suffering.

It is illegal to prevent cancer with cannabis?

cannabis cancer

Right you lot, listen up. We live in a terribly warped world. Me writing and you reading makes up two people right? Now the latest science on cancer says that one of the two of us will get cancer within our lifetime. Eating healthy, exercising regularly and finding a positive way to deal with life’s stresses all help but we live in an incredibly polluted world so that alone will not work. All those wifi waves and background radiation are bombarding our body’s cells. Cancer is a damaged cell that keeps growing and dividing. Normally our cells will commit suicide if it thinks it is damaged (apoptosis), but cancer overrides this safety valve. When cannabis  enters your system, it regulates your cell functions. Cancer cells are instructed by cannabis molecules to do as they normally should, and kill themselves. There is nothing in medicine that comes close to this level of effectiveness. Today’s solution to cancer is to cut, burn or poison the cancer out. This treatment hurts the healthy cells around the cancerous ones. American president Nixon knew that cannabis kills cancer since 1974 but decided to keep that piece of information to himself. It is not a conspiracy theory, it is a documented fact that the American government intentionally hid this valuable scientific breakthrough. Whether it was for cynical or incompetent reasons, the end result is the same, people have been needlessly suffering while a cure for their disease was available.

Cancer is a part of the natural world. It just so happens that cannabis can be a normal, natural antidote. This morning I had a pot cookie for breakfast which means my system has an extra shield from cancer. After eating the cookie I did not turn into a menace, but I did happily get on with my day. I have close family members that have cancer and after you spend time in a cancer treatment waiting room you know one thing, getting cancer is  bad. We set up this website to spread cannabis science and news. The last couple of years have seen huge advancements for cannabis. Governments have no credible scientific bases to keep the plant illegal but because of their irrational position they have made criminals out of normal, law abiding citizens.

Praguepot advises people to break the law on cannabis. Any system of governance that makes healthy things illegal is not a legitimate government. We encourage you to grow your own cannabis and organize yourselves into locally based groups. The threat of cancer is so serious that going to jail is an acceptable risk to keep yourself healthy.  Our governments think toxic pharmaceutical medicine is the only legal treatment but, at least for me, I will decide how to safeguard my own health. Our governments get the same information as we do. To keep cannabis illegal, it looks like they are intentionally trying to damage the public’s health. Maybe a class action lawsuit with crowd funding is an appropriate response. Any lawyers out there looking to make a name for themselves should get in touch. Below is a list of great locally based European groups you can contact and join. Our cannabis community is strong, smart and determined. Come join us as we push back against the tide of ignorance and greed that dominates our “civilized” world.

German cannabis is marching forward

Berlin cannabis march

Saturday the 8th of August will see German and European cannabis activists marching through Berlin. Today 464 seriously ill Germans have access to medical marijuana. The fact that so few have legal access to the health promoting plant is criminal. The German government are ignoring scientific research that is streaming out of America, Spain and Israel. Look at how slow governments are reacting to the new reality. They are happy to continue prohibition and let sick people needlessly stuff toxic medication into their bodies. Saturday’s Berlin march is our opportunity to unite in the streets.

The march organizers will talk about the history and future of the plant. If you are in Berlin on Saturday and you want to meet a fun, socially conscious bunch of people, then find the march details here. The planet needs more activists. Politicians said trust us, and then they sold us out to greedy capitalists. It is clear that cannabis is a health promoting plant. If enough people reject prohibition publicly, politicians will have to respect our collective wisdom.

Get involved, join an activist group, begin your own cannabis social club or even just go along to one of these European marches. Together we can build a safer, healthier tomorrow

New study confirms cannabis is healthy

cannabis science

Last January Colorado joined Holland in decriminalizing cannabis. Since then Colorado has seen an increase in taxes and a decrease in crime. New research carried out by Jordan Bechtold at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine has studied young men from their teenage years into adulthood. The study was looking for a link between teenage cannabis use and ill health as an adult. Unfortunately for prohibitionists, no link was found. In fact, even young chronic use of the plant did not correlate to an increase of mental or physical ill health. No serious cannabis activist will call for teens to be allowed use cannabis but what will be welcomed by young people, is a serious debate on the subject.

This study shines more light on the absurdity of the war on cannabis. Legal alcohol and tobacco directly kill millions of people each year but still we need to debate cannabis legalization? Cannabis helps heal and de-stress sick people. We were told by prohibitionists that cannabis would destroy society, but the opposite is happening in Colorado. I guess thinking something and reality, really are two different things. That is a bit of wisdom ignored by prohibitionists unfortunately.

New report, young Danes replace alcohol with healthier cannabis

Denmark cannabis

The Danish National Institute of Public Health has released its latest findings. School aged kids binge drink less alcohol but are replacing it with cannabis. Obviously in a perfect world, no school kids would bother with cannabis but in the real world, younger people have tried and will continue to try cannabis. It is certainly less damaging than booze, but too much of anything is going to create problems. Half of Danish school boys and a third of girls have smoked cannabis. A little over a third of all Danes have tried pot. That is a lot by European standards.

Prohibitionists will delight in this increased cannabis use. They will argue that cannabis is poisoning young, developing minds. There is a theory that early use of the plant can negatively impact your immune system. Alcohol is far more damaging however. It has been scientifically proven to lower IQs, promote aggressive, anti social behavior and is a leading cause of teen pregnancies.

Prohibitionists won’t tell you that kids have easy access to the plant because of prohibition. Drug dealers don’t have the same protection as pharmaceutical drug dealers. Not being regulated means illegal drugs easily find their way into schools. In Colorado, teens are less likely to use cannabis because there is more control on the supply side. If we want to deal with cannabis as adults, then regulate the production and supply of the herb.

Cannabis dream

cannabis dream

We want freedom. We want ice cream. We want free ice cream or we are literally going to go ballistic.  It had been a long day, and nobody cared to consider how irate Sam had become. He was sitting on his comfortably uncomfortable, old worn out legless couch, watching the surveillance shadows. Are you sure you are going to go ballistic though? Last time you called for ice cream and got none you only sulked until you forgot.

I’ll give you all a sulk. CIA Sam doesn’t wait around.

Preaching about the evils of forced pot prohibition does get tiresome. Let’s face it, we will get cannabis legalization but the government has decided to be a bit of an ass about it. Hi, I wrote earlier about all that super science on the health benefits of marijuana, did you get a chance to read any of it? No? No time to read a little science on the plant you have gone out of your way to assure us all that it is so evil? Not to worry man, we will come back tomorrow, maybe with some new science data too.

What is the government waiting for? I remember when I was a kid, my brother and I were happily playing pool in some old bar while waiting for our dad to come back up the memory lane he was wandering down. Anyways, after a coke and a couple of games of pool we were feeling fine. Then in walked some local red necks. After a few minutes of watching us they slapped a coin down on the pool table and smugly walked off. We haven’t finished playing we told them, but red neck rules are the rules so the end of this game was pretty much the end of the bliss we had been enjoying. Without saying a word or even exchange a glance we just kept knocking that last black ball around the table just to spite the village hanging arounders. They hadn’t seen us play so they at first couldn’t figure out if we were really that bad or were just trying to stay on the table as long as possible. We would set up easier and easier shots for each other to miss. How could you miss that? It was easier to sink that last one than miss it! I think we kept those guys on the edge of their seats for at least another hour before they figured we were just playing as long as we could. The chief knuckle dragger eventually put the black ball down the hole and told us to fuck off.

It seems to me that the government has to be playing with us too. How can you prohibit a plant that is healthy for you? The answer is and always will be, because you let them. Government has a role to play in our lives, but it is not the central part of our life. Keep the street lights on, lock up violent people and try your best not to fuck things up too badly. Almost one out of three isn’t so bad I guess. But seriously, who do our government think they are kidding? Listen young fellow, this is the way government works, we have a nonsense policy and we are going to carry it out because we are always doing it this way and besides, we are actually all drunk on the power you let us wield over you. Eventually someone has to say, right you have had your bit of fun, now time for you to fuck off somewhere else. A lawyer will see it different I am sure, but there is no natural way that a government or their agents can really be able to tell you that you can’t use cannabis. If they have that power, then what is stopping them from making you do other things you don’t like. Today the stoners are oppressed with this nonsense but what if tomorrow they say you can’t go out jogging or hiking anymore, because some of the joggers and hikers are taking a shit on the public street and leaving it there for someone to slip on. Sorry about that folks but you can no longer jog. Would you be outraged? Would you start secretly jogging around your house in defiance? Or would you accept the new orders and make the best of it? If you aren’t a jogger anyway, what is the big deal right?

So where does the government stop? If they have the right to stop me from smoking pot, what else can they do? They do go to war, they do have crooked financial deals swirling around their time in public self service. We see example after example of corruption and lobbying/bribery which benefits the few at the top and shits on those below. Crooks that have mastered the art of bullshit to such a successful degree that they not only get elected but end up leading the other snake oil salesmen and women, and we the people have to rely on these sociopaths to do the right thing? Given the chance, a politician will cut you for a dime. And the worst part is, we let them. We concern ourselves with our own lives and don’t take responsibility for our role in the screw up that is the modern world.

We have apple phones and tablets, apparently there is a new watch out, which sounds more gimmick than useful new tech thing but anyways, what have we achieved with all these new gadgets? The world has become smaller for sure. We can know so much about anything that takes our fancy, but we also get to see terrible poverty and its resulting chaos cruelly waste countless lives. Each of us must share in the responsibility of knowing we are all either part of the problem or the solution. If we are part of the problem, then go ahead and look away. Hopefully you have something else more important to keep an eye on instead of just being lazy. If you do give a damn about helping to make a better world, then start small but aim for the stars. Good people will always find good people. Organically grown cannabis is actually healthy for you. This is such a funny situation. The anti pot people have no valid reason to deny the use of cannabis so after years of just making stuff up about pot they eventually end up just ignoring us. Yes, still busting people too, but their silence is interesting. We need to use social media to lovingly remind the authorities that they are not God, they are here to help run society better. It isn’t their responsibility to stop me from making a personal lifestyle choice. I would be just as appalled if the government started dictating what kind of hair cut we could have as I am when I see the government has decided that I can’t smoke pot based on nothing more than tradition, even after the science now says the herb is healthy.

There are so many other things to concern yourself with, but you cannot dismiss the cannabis debate. There are important points of principles here. A right to privacy, a right to freedom, a right to make up our own minds, especially when we get the same science data as the government. Science data by the way, which overwhelmingly points out that cannabis is healthy for you. It regulates your system better. Takes pain and stress away. Fights cancer but can cause paranoia, go figure. A generation ago they would have gone crazy if they thought the government was spying on them. Now we accept it without a second thought and also agree to be dictated to by a government that have gotten it wrong on pot. Not only that but government knows it is wrong. So they know and we know they know. But maybe a bigger question is, do they know that we know that they are dead wrong on cannabis? It is a bloody disgrace either way. All the pointless tax payer money being spent to play along with this pointless prohibition. Bonuses for the banks and tanks for the police. Cannabis consumers are not criminals. Marijuana is a medicine for our modern times. It promotes the growth of new brain cells. Lord knows I need more of those cells so on behalf of stupid people with ambitions everywhere, please legalize pot so we can move onto fixing the next problem.

Does cannabis really fight cancer?

cannabis cancer

Wasn’t it nice when we were kids. We believed what we were told and then took a nap. As adults, doing the same thing has let big business run riot with our environment and our health. Drilling in the Arctic is a good idea. Who cares about its pristine environment the profit depraved, psychopaths in suits say. Fast food is good for you their studies have found. Load up on sugar and salt like it is going out of business!

But we are not children, and we are responsible for both ourselves and our environment. Each of us has an important role to play. From simple acts of kindness to examples of incredible bravery (Edward Snowden) we all must play our part. For reasons of greedy profiteering cannabis has been prohibited by the world. America lead the charge against the plant based on racial propaganda. Over the decades this initial propaganda was reinforced with new arguments based solely on ideological ideas rather than scientific facts. In 1947 the US government studied cannabis and its effects on epilepsy. It was clearly shown that cannabis was a cure for the affliction. This was not the kind of information that the government wanted to release so they suppressed it! In 1974 at the Medical College of Virginia, scientists looked at how cannabis affects cancer cells. To the displeasure of the government, they found that cannabis kills cancer cells. Again this information was kept secret. There was a drugs war to be fought, even if the drug they were fighting was perhaps the greatest medicinal plant that will ever be known to man.

Below are a list of scientific studies done on cannabis and cancer. They all show that the plant helps fight the deadly threat of cancer. The power of the internet spreads information and connects people. I hope this helps to do both.

These studies have been carried out inspite of the ban on cannabis. When we finally have an end to pot prohibition we can properly explore the benefits of medical marijuana. Shame on anyone who denies the medical properties of cannabis. We don’t need toxic pills for most of our modern day illnesses. We need good diets, exercise and a little of mother nature’s cannabis plant.
