Cannabis freedom starts from within

cannabis prohibition

The beauty of a human soul isn’t held within a country’s legal system. Souls must find their own way to sing sweetly. We were born free but somewhere along the way we have become enslaved. Justice is dying. My fellow cannabis brothers and sisters are being oppressed. We love the herb, I think it is a messenger from Mother Nature, but that is just me. All of our civil rights have been destroyed the moment a government knowingly punished someone for a healthy lifestyle choice. Organically grown cannabis is healthy for you. The science is too strong to deny anymore.

The Jews that were slaughtered in the second world war holocaust did as they were told. They gave up their rights, their possessions and then their freedom. Since that war they have said over and over not to forget. The trouble is, fascism has many faces. Today fascism is in the strict adherence to the rule of law. Don’t walk on the grass, don’t smoke the grass, don’t feed the homeless, don’t listen to your inner voice, listen to the police megaphone declaring the truth according to brute strength. The rule of law is a spiders web.

When old Jewish people tell us not to forget their holocaust, they are talking about the battle that each human being must face. If I witness injustice, I am part of the problem the moment I decide not to act. Our governments are too powerful. As cannabis activists, we want our civil rights respected. We are not going to obediently get into stinking trains this time. Freedom is worth fighting for. Civil disobedience is your duty when laws are unjust, and don’t kid yourself, these laws that seek to strangle us are unjust. Rivers shouldn’t be polluted, food shouldn’t give you cancer. It is time for change. First look within. You are perfect. You were born with the loving strength and knowledge of all that has gone before you. It is time to stand up for your rights.

American train crash caused by cannabis prohibition thinking

American society cannabis

American infrastructure/society is rotting from the inside out. Police aren’t trusted, education is declining, healthcare is for profit only and now it is becoming lethally obvious that America’s infrastructure is rotting too. Who would have thought that bending to the will of giant, faceless, profit seeking organizations would eventually destroy the American dream. Capitalism is good, but capitalism requires businesses that can’t sustain themselves to go broke. The American financial system was broke, but the tax payers bailed out those institutions. So the reality is, we no longer have a capitalist system in America. We have a post corporate take over of society, society!

Short term economic goals do not stabilize and enhance society, they bleed that society to death. Our government’s inability to stop these economic psychopathic organizations brings us to the present moment. Pollution and corruption are the norm. Science based arguments are sneered at. Cannabis is healthy, non toxic and fun so our government bans it? We could allow some wiggle room if we could see the greater good for society but there are only greasy lobbyist foot prints at the political doors of power. Trains are a useful, alternative to individual transport. Train technology, bridges and roads have all had their budgets cut so corporate tax loop holes remain. Welfare for the people is bad but welfare for the corporation is good? This is not a clever or sane argument. It is just another example of the perversion in American society.

If we cut money out of politics, and actually look at the rational, evidence based solutions to our problems then train crashes and cannabis prohibition can be left to history. America was not created to facilitate maximum corporate profit. It was a place for free people to live as they saw fit. The declaration of independence was written on hemp paper at a time when cannabis cultivation was seen as a positive, natural tool for society. Once we drop the cannabis prohibition delusion, and the lies and nonsense that goes with it, then we can begin to be honest with ourselves and refocus on growing a strong middle class that don’t have to ask their government which hand they must use to wipe their asses with! Short term economic gain is not a sustainable strategy for society. That is the blueprint of what a virus does. Eventually a virus kills its host. Global warming is the beginning of that death. If we can’t take a step back and do what is right for the country and our shared planet then we are dead men/women walking. A few hundred years from now it will be war then death then another moon like planet with nothing but profitable dust flying in the lifeless wind.

A poem to the end of cannabis prohibition

cannabis prohibition

Feet dangling from this dock, fresh ocean breeze swirling.
Waiting.
Sunrise, sunset.
Waiting for the mad dust to settle down.
The herb is healthy. No amount of wealthy campaign contributions will change that.
Broken bodies needlessly filled with toxic medication.

Politicians look down on the people.

Why?

The people don’t care to follow what is happening.

Too busy being distracted.

What a cruel laugh is being had at our children’s future.

Each of us bears responsibility for our broken society.

There are no easy options left.

Words and protests are part of the carnival.

The real perversion in society is our inaction.

So I sit on this dock, breathing in the clean air.

Getting stronger and more determined.

Provoking the unity that is so desperately needed to save the planet.

Just ask the cocksure Nazis.

In the end, truth wins.

In the end, the evilness of inaction is over come by its arch-rival, action.

Our day will come.

The corruption of medicine

pharmaceutical corruption cannabis

Our technological advancement in the medical field is impressive. We can now do organ transplants and stem cell research is racing ahead. But there is one aspect of the medical industry that is absolutely criminal. Doctors are routinely given free holidays, expenses and gifts from pharmaceutical companies trying to get doctors to prescribe their products. For some bizarre reason this practice is legal. The result of this corruption is more patients taking pharmaceutical pills that they do not need. This industry has risen to become the largest industry in America and a global powerhouse. One of the main reasons cannabis has been kept illegal is because big pharma are afraid the plant will replace many of their most profitable products.

It is time that we check the power of these companies. Their immoral influence on doctors is a modern scandal. Their active participation in the prohibition of marijuana is pure evil. At the recent Prague medical marijuana conference scientists and doctors agreed that cannabis could replace up to half of all the medication currently being sold by these gigantic corporations. The size of the pharmaceutical industry, coupled with their obscene profits is a threat to society. It is time to wake up to the reality that big pharma is only a profit seeking organization. They do not care about the patient, they only concern themselves with the next financial quarter’s profits. This is too narrow a perspective on an industry that is literally a life saving one. Cannabis prohibition has illuminated all these problems. Ignoring them is folly, the only answer is to educate yourself and then get active. Our grandkids can’t afford any more inaction.

Why fight for cannabis

cannabis rights

The prohibitionists have done an amazing job. Say marijuana to one of our less enlightened brothers or sisters and they immediately think of brains frying and the short step to crack whores giving hand jobs at the back of bus stations. You have to give it to them. They really, really did a great job vilifying the non toxic, health giving plant. They would have gotten away with it to, if it wasn’t for those pesky kids talking about the beneficial effects of the plant on the internet.

So why should we fight for cannabis? It is freely available anyway right? We must fight because our pot rights are important. It is the coming out issue for the next generation of politically activated young people. We have watched with horror as big business has dominated society. The government doesn’t mind pollution or systemic corruption but it does mind people using a healthy alternative to alcohol?

We must fight for our rights because if we don’t, we will wake up in a police state if we are not there already. Our phones and computers have taken us into the next phase of human evolution but they have also allowed a control obsessed government to track us to a frightening, George Orwell 1984 level. This new generation must put science at the forefront of political decisions. Cannabis is an effective, non toxic medicine which should be embraced quickly and decisively. America is in the middle of a low level civil war between the racist system and oppressed minorities. Europe is dealing with a tsunami of traumatized African refugees. Asia is trying to cope with climate change as well as an ever growing China. If we want things to change, then we will need much more straight talk. Politicians are famous for talking out of their arses, considering the lethal threats today, do we really want this type of representation? Do we want puppets, bought and paid for by big business tellings us it will be all right if we only vote for them one more time?

Cannabis is a beautiful battle between the generations. On the prohibitionist’s side, they have all the hot air and bluster but they also have the keys to the city whereas the pro pot camp has all the facts and science  but don’t have a unified voice yet. To argue against the obvious medical applications of the plant is ridiculous, even recreational users are medicating. They have lower stress levels and a much lower risk of getting diabetes. If you go into your local hospital emergency room on a Friday night, it will be the drinkers populating the room, not stoners.

If we don’t fight for this right, which right will we take a stand on? The right to privacy? GONE. The right to protest? GOING. The right to live in a safe, unpolluted world? GONE. We have tried ignoring our way out of the problem and guess what, the politicians just did what the greedy capitalists told them to do to the obvious detriment of society.

We must fight for cannabis because it can unite us as a new generation dealing with a shit storm of problems. Our current leaders thinks it is a good idea to deal with the debt crisis by creating a vast ocean of new debt. Instead of using this new made up money to help society they give it to banks and their corporate masters while leaving us to rot. They go to war against our interests, and they couldn’t care less if cannabis cures cancer. They get their big mansions and sleazy boardroom jobs anyway. It is up to us, look away if you want, but in the end we will have to deal with this problem so why not pack a peace pipe and get started!! Social media has brought us together. We wanted cannabis legalized and it will be legalized. There is no end to our collective power and unlike older generations that then use power to personally profit, we can focus on healing the planet and creating the kind of world that would make Gandhi proud.

cannabis rights

Drug war nonsense

It still amazes me how backward our system of government really is. We now know cannabis is not dangerous. Enforcing the prohibition of this plant is a complete waste of our resources. The video below shows the child like nature of the DEA when it comes to cannabis. Since when was it acceptable for grown adults to behave in this way? Look at the science, and correct the prohibition nonsense. We have a world that is being polluted by short sighted economic policies, war for oil and systemic corruption. Do we really want to stay distracted by this non facts based cannabis argument?
